 EXTERNAL ORGANS



Now we will learn about Female’s External reproductive organs - 

External reproductive organs are also called valva. 


Valva is divided into eight part -


i. mons pubis

ii. labia majora

iii. labia minora

iv. clitoris

v. vestibule

vi. bartholin's glands 

vii. skene glands

viii. Vaginal opening


Vulva-

Female’s external genital part is called vulva. It protects internal organs.


I. Mons pubis -

Mons pubis is a fat tissue located in the pubic bones. It's covered with pubic hair. This pubic hair helps us to reduce friction during the sextual intercourse. Or  stop entering other microorganisms, and bacteria into our body.


II. Labia majora-

Labia majora ( larger lips) consist of adipose and fibrous tissue. It is covered by the labia minora.


III. Labia minora -

The labia minora( small lips) small pair fold the skin surrounding the opening of the vagina . Protect the vagina open from infection . Labia minora the whole vestibule and clitoris area spreading  lubrications from the glands located vagina . It helps painless intercourse.


IV. Clitoris,-


V. Vestibule -

The vestibule located just below the clitoris. The vestibule contains the opening of the vagina.


VI. Bartholin glands - 

It's located on each side of vagina opening, it is a very important part of the female reproductive system. It secretes the  fluids which help lubricate the vagina during interorse job.


VII. Skene glands -

Skene glands are two glands located on each side of urethra And also believed that it secreted

antimicrobial fluids which help us during sextual intercourse.


VIII. Vaginal opening
